We have been married 20 years and are raising three “home- grown” sons, while eagerly anticipating the adoption of our little girl from Ethiopia. We fully believe that children are a blessing from the Lord, and that this journey of adoption is one that He has called us to.

There are over 5 million orphans in Ethiopia, and soon there will be ONE less.   We are in the final stages of raising the necessary funds to bring our Magdalyn Grace home.    She is currently only 3 months old, and cuter than we could possibly imagine. We hope to travel to Ethiopia in June to bring her home.

Our family began this journey of adoption in November of 2008, and had no idea how much our lives and global perspective would change.  Our hearts have been captured for the orphans of Ethiopia, and we will never be the same. One in ten children in Ethiopia die before their first birthday; often from preventable causes such as pneumonia, malaria and malnutrition. Children are relinquished or abandoned daily.
